■ The Method of Class Operation (categorized based on students’ attendance in class)
○ Online : online classes without students’ attending classroom
○ Hybrid of Online and Offline
- In the classroom, professors will provide streaming lectures in real-time. Otherwise students will have stored lectures later.
- Students will choose whether they attend the classrooms or not
○ Offline : Students will attend the classroom or laboratory for their lecture in the whole semester or selected weeks.
※ In the case of Online or Hybrid of Online and Offline, students who cannot commute to university(living abroad etc.) can attend the online lectures only.
※ In the case of Offline, all students must attend the classrooms
■ Detailed Types
○ Pre-produced : Professors make lectures in advance using EverLec and upload them onto LMS(i-Campus)
○ Real Time Streaming(RTS) : Professors provide streaming lectures in real-time using WebEx
○ Stored Lectures : Professors provide the offline lectures in the classrooms and store them using the LectureDesk. Stored lectures will be uploaded onto LMS
○ Attendance in turns : Students will be grouped in class year, school year, team, etc. and the groups will attend the classrooms in turns.
(ex. students with odd number of class year will attend the classrooms on the 1st, 3rd, 5th, ... week with students with even number of class year on 2nd, 4th, 6th.... week / Group A on Monday and Group B on Wednesday, etc.)
■ Explanation on the Method of Class Operation
1. Online [Pre-Produced] : Professors store the lectures in advance using?EverLec and upload them on LMS
2. Online [Real Time Streaming] : Professors provide the real-time lectures using WebEx on the set timetable
3. Online [Pre-Produced+Real Time Streaming] : Hybird of Pre-Produced lectures and Real-Time Streaming lectures
4. Hybrid of On/Offline [Offline+Stored lectures] : Professors will provide the lectures in the classrooms while students choose whether they attend the classrooms or not. Stored lectures will be provided at LMS.
5. Hybrid of On/Offline [Offline+Real Time Streaming] : Professors will provide the lectures in the classrooms while students choose whether they attend the classrooms or not. Students also can attend the real time streaming lectures.
6. Hybrid of On/Offline [Attending offline in turns+Stored lectures] : Professors will provide the lectures in the classrooms while students attend the classes in turns. Stored lectures will be provided at LMS
7. Hybrid of On/Offline [Attending offline in turns+Real Time Streaming] : Professors will provide the lectures in the classrooms while students attend the classes in turns. Students can attend the real time streaming lectures.
8. Offline [the whole semester]: Professors and all students will attend the classrooms during the whole semester
9. Offline [Some offline lectures+some stored lectures] : Students will attend some lectures and take the stored lectures for the rest. (as planned on the syllabus).
10.Offline [Some offline lectures+Real Time Streaming]: Students will attend some lectures and take the real time streaming lectures for the rest. (as planned on the syllabus)
11.Offline [Groups attend in turns]: Students in groups will attend the classrooms in turns and students take the stored lectures or real time streaming lectures.
(ex)
○ Hybrid of online and offline + attending in turns → Group A on Monday, Group B on Wednesday, but students can choose whether they attend the classes or not
○ Offline attendance in turns → Group A on Monday, Group B on Wednesday and students must attend the classes.
