■주제: Energy-Efficient and Reliable Neuromorphic Sensory System

■요약: As transistor scaling approaches the physical and economic limits of Moore’s law, further gains in computing performance can no longer rely solely on denser, faster digital logic. Consequently, conventional von Neumann systems face intrinsic limitations in energy efficiency and bandwidth when interfacing with heterogeneous physical signals, underscoring the need to tightly couple computation with diverse functionalities such as sensing, memory, and actuation. As a representative multifunctional platform, this presentation introduces an energy-efficient, reliable neuromorphic sensory system that monolithically integrates CMOS-compatible semiconductor gas sensors with ferroelectric-based neuromorphic computing hardware. This approach illustrates one possible pathway toward post-Moore neuromorphic platforms that bridge the gap between physical sensing and on-site intelligence for environmental monitoring, industrial safety, and edge AI.
