■ Top-tier International Journals
Eligible journals will be recognized according to their inclusion in the attached ‘CICE Top-tier(T1~T3) Journal’ list and the proportion of journals with a higher Journal Citation Reports (JCR) Impact Factor (IF) or Citation Index (CI).

- Journal Citation Reports (JCR): Please check the JCR at JCR Clarivate https://jcr.clarivate.com/jcr/home

① T1: Journals in the top 5% based on JCR IF or CI

② T2: Journals in the top 10% based on JCR IF or CI

③ T3: Journals in the top 75% (Q3) based on JCR IF, excluding T1 and T2

※ Please note that “Top-tier International Journals” will be classified only up to Tier 3 (Q3). Journals in the Q4 category (those with an impact factor below the top 75% in JCR) will not be recognized. Therefore, SCI journals classified as Q4 will not be considered as " Top-tier International Journals

※ For journals not included in the ‘CICE Top-tier(T1~T3) Journal’ list, those indexed in KCI (Korean Citation Index) or SCOPUS may be recognized according to the specific requirements for the degree program. (For PhD programs, 0.3 points are awarded.)

- Note: Journals in the "Upcoming/Not Yet Indexed" category will not be accepted.

■ Top-tier International Conference
Only conferences listed in the attached 'Tiered International Conference List (T1–T4)' will be recognized.

※ Conferences not included in the Excellent International Conference list will be recognized according to the specific requirements for the degree program. (For PhD programs, 0.2 points are awarded.)

※ An International Conference will be recognized if there are participants from at least 4 countries and at least 20 oral presentations.
