Greetings, we are the 58th SKKU Student Council S'PEAK.

The 2026 Winter Graduation Gown Rental Program will be conducted as follows. Please review the schedule carefully.

■ Rental Information

○ Eligibility: February 2026 Graduates

※ Only bachelor’s and master’s gowns are provided for the rental.

※ Only the students who have received the degree can rent the gowns.

○ Rental Period: Saturday, February 12, 2026 (Thu) - February 25, 2026 (Wed), every day from 9:00 AM ~ 6:00 PM

(Excluding February 15 (Sun) - February 18 (Wed), due to Lunar New Year holiday)

○ Return Policy: Until 6 P.M. on the day of rental

○ Rental Location

- Humanities and Social Sciences Campus: International Hall 1F Lounge

- Natural Sciences Campus: Student Center 1F Small Auditorium

○ Preparation: ID (Registration Card, Driver’s License, Residence Card, Passport), Bag for the Gown

※ Student ID card is not accepted as deposit.

※ A valid physical ID will be held by the SKKU Student Council until the graduation gown is returned.

■ Application for Graduation Gowns Rental

○ Application Period: February 9, 2026 (Mon) - February 23, 2026 (Mon)

⑥ Pay KRW 5,000 / 7,000 to the virtual bank account

○ Rental Fee: Bachelor KRW 5,000 / Master KRW 7,000

※ Virtual account will be provided for the payment when the rental request is successfully submitted. Cash payment will not be supported.

※ Due to the bank policy, issuing the virtual account may not operate from 12:00 to 12:10 A.M. (12:00 to 12:40 A.M. on Fridays).

※ The rental fee will be refunded if the gown is not rented after the payment.

■ Multiple Times Rental Policy

○ There is no limit on the number of rentals, however only one graduation gown may be rented per rental.

○ The previously rented must be returned before renting another gown.

○ Late or non-returned graduation gowns will result in suspension of further rentals during the program period.

○ The rental fee is charged only for the initial rental.

○ Subsequent rentals after the initial rental may be made in person without additional procedures.

○ Please know that an unused gown will be provided for the initial rental, and a used gown will be available to rent for subsequent rentals.

■ Parking Information

○ Parking fee discounts will be provided only for graduation gown renters.

○ Parking Fee

- Humanities and Social Sciences Campus: 3,000 won for 4 hours

- Natural Sciences Campus: 2,000 won for 4 hours

○ Parking fee payment process: Scan the provided QR Code with camera → Enter the vehicle number, and select the vehicle → Check parking fee, and pay mobile → Exit after payment

※ QR Codes will be provided at the rental location.

※ Additional charges will apply if exited more than 30 minutes after parking payment.

※ Due to limited parking space at the HSSC, congestion is expected. Public transportation is strongly recommended.

■ Information on Late Fees

○ Regardless of the number of rentals, graduation gowns must be returned by 6:00 PM on the rental date.

○ Graduation gowns returned after 6:00 PM will incur a late fee, and no further rentals will be permitted for the remainder of the program period.

○ Late Fee

- Late return on the rental date: KRW 10,000

※ Applied for returns made after 6:00 PM on the rental date.

- 1-day overdue: KRW 15,000

- Each additional day after the first day: KRW 10,000 per day

ex) Returned at 6:20 PM on the rental date: KRW 10,000

ex) Returned the next day: KRW 15,000

ex) Returned three days later: KRW 35,000

※ Late fees collected will be allocated to the Student Council's student activity fund.

※ Late fees are imposed to prevent loss and damage of graduation gowns. We appreciate you understanding.

■ Further Announcement

○ Only SKKU's traditional graduation gowns are available for rental.

○ Proxy pick-up and return are not permitted. The renter must pick up and return the graduation gown in person.

○ Rental applications are not processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

○ In cases of loss or damage to the graduation gown or its accessories, the renter may be charged accordingly.

※ Loss and Damage Fees

  Traditional Bachelor's Graduation Gown Set: KRW 132,000

  Traditional Master's Graduation Gown Set: KRW 179,000

■ For Ph.D. and Combined Students

Ph.D. and Combined students cannot borrow graduation clothes from the university. Instead of that, students have to rental the clothes by themselves. You can buy or rental the clothes from the private companies.

■ Fixed Color of the clothes for MS/Ph.D. : Orange Color (주황색) for Engineering (Including the Department of Electrical and computer engineering, etc.)
